Common myths debunked

Greetings !! Since y'all loved the myths that i debunked in the previous blog which you all must read.( click here ). Here's one more that will fascinate you a lott!.. Here we go-- 1.Birds will leave there kids if they gets touched by human. Most birds have a poor sense of smell and wouldn't know the difference. So that the mother bird wouldn't know if their baby was touched  by a human anyway. If you find a baby bird on the ground, it is probably learning to fly and shouldn't be touched . It's also not wise to touch baby birds because an angry momiee bird might fly in your face or peck at your head and curse you in bird language๐Ÿ˜‚. Overall, mother birds are much more loyal to their babies than this myth suggests. 2.The great wall of china is visible from the space! The Great Wall of China is  large, nearly 13,171 miles long! . However, it is unable to be seen from space with just the naked eye. On November 24th, 2004, an astronaut named ...

HOW ISRAEL GOT RID OF CORONA!!!

 Hii you all..
Day before , I came across this photo๐Ÿ‘‡ and got to know that Israel is finally getting unmasked!...that was so good to hear

Israel is my peraonal favourite country ..but after seeing this...my attachment to this country rose!!
So today I'll gonna tell you how it happened ..how israel defeated corona!..a pandemic over which countries like India have no control!!

So I'll gonna pendown all the reasons and precautions that helped israel to tackle this pandemic:-

1. STRICT LOCKDOWN ๐Ÿ”’

Israelis have experienced some of the world’s strictest and longest national lockdowns, with residents mostly confined to their homes for a cumulative four months.

In late December, Israel became the first country to enter a third lockdown. Meant to last two weeks, it is still in force.

2.RAPID TESTING#

BEERSHEBA, Israel — A team of three Israeli scientists had pioneered a coronavirus testing procedure that they claimed was faster and more efficient than any now in use.

The Israeli government planned to roll out the above new method in 12 labs across the country by October, anticipating that another wave of coronavirus infections could coincide with influenza season with potentially calamitous results.

3. STRONG VACCINATION DRIVE

Israel has achieved a creditable milestone by vaccinating most of its adults since January 2021, when it started its mass vaccination drive. This has now led to the country with a population of close to one crore lifting restrictions in movement and outdoor mask requirements

couple of months ago, Israel was still struggling to cope with the spread of the virus. But given the frenetic pace of their vaccination programmes, the reproduction number (R0) has come down drastically. R0 shows how many people an infected person will in turn infect. At its peak, Israel was seeing more than 100 deaths per day with R0 close to 1.5. At present, it is 0.77. In terms of hospitalisations, Israel had a peak of about 300 patients per million hospitalised. Now, it is around 30 patients per million.

4. STRONG MEDICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Israel is a great pilot country for the pharma companies—small and able to put together a massive vaccination program quickly and effectively. Netanyahu , the pre minister of Israel knew it, and the pharma companies did too. This was confirmed, in fact, by the Israeli Minister of Health, Yuli Edelstein, who said in a recent interview that Israel had entered into negotiations with drugmakers as an early bird, given its ability to deliver.

What makes Israel a great pilot country? The answer: its vast public health infrastructure, a public good that has developed through heavy public investment since the creation of the state about 70 years ago

5. POLITICAL AIM FULFILLMENT!!

Yet there is another element driving Israel's sprint toward becoming the first country to vaccinate a majority of its population: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is running for re-election, again.

“Many Israelis feel that the management of this crisis has been very much affected by Netanyahu’s own political considerations,” Yohanan Plesner, president of the Israel Democracy Institute, said.

6. CAUTION STILL IN PLACE:)

Israel continues to limit non-essential entry of foreigners, and non-immune Israelis who return from abroad must self-isolate over concerns that other new virus variants could challenge the efficacy of vaccines administered in the country.

This is even as the health ministry detected seven cases of the new Indian variant, whose potency is being assessed. Therefore, health officials are quick to caution that the pandemic is not over. Countries around Israel and elsewhere continue to see high rate of infections and the same is the case in the Palestinian territories of West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Corona cases in Israel as on 28 april , 2021:-

All in all we can say that israel had made such a gr8 effort to combat corona and that is worth applauding...
